The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Liberty, Missouri, invites the community to give blood on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. The blood drive, in partnership with the Red Cross, will be held from 1 pm – 6 pm at the church building located on 1130 N Clayview Drive.

At the October blood drive, President Brody Perschon, 2nd counselor in the Liberty Missouri Stake presidency, donated blood in a mere four minutes. Lori Garcia (Hodge Park Ward), Liberty Stake Communications Director, was impressed with how fast he was able to give blood.

“President Perschon was amazing,” Garcia said. “Every bag of blood donated is great, but I thought it would be fun to see if anyone could beat President Perschon’s record.”

“Giving blood helps us follow in the footsteps of the Savior as we seek to bless others and do something for them that they cannot do for themselves,” President Perschon said. “I look forward to giving blood again at the blood drive and keeping my record with the quickest donation time. Challengers welcome!”

Brandi Hastings (Hodge Park Ward), Liberty Stake Activities Director, along with others helped plan and put on the blood drive. She is hoping the community and the church will rally together for those in need.

“A blood drive is an easy way to put compassion into action,” Hasting said. “One donation can help multiple people and reminds us how much it matters to show up for one another!”
