On the evening of Friday, September 12, 2025, the youth of the Shoal Creek Valley Ward gathered at the Kansas City Missouri Temple to perform proxy baptisms and confirmations for ancestors. 

“It’s special to gather as youth in the House of the Lord to come together as one in Christ,” Andrew Malan, bishop of the Shoal Creek Valley Ward at the time, said.
