At risk of embarrassment, these are dirty rugs from my kitchen!

Looooong overdue for a good power wash. Soap and water pressure was all they needed. Why did it take me so long to take care of it?!

Luckily for me, the summer heat returned this week so they could dry and disinfect in the sunshine. It was a very satisfying task which allowed me some mindful brain-space… “What else in my life needs to be power washed?” and “What have I been putting off that needs to be taken care of?”

I feel that now is a really good time for reflection and reset with God. I know we can be cleansed with the “Living Water,” Jesus Christ. We can be cleansed of whatever has been keeping us from shining for His glory and purpose. I bet more frequent spiritual cleansing is more comfortable than infrequent power washes!

PS – Apologies to anyone who has walked on these rugs in the past…years!!
