On Sunday evening, November 23, 2025, the Liberty-area Ministerial Alliance will host an Interfaith Thanksgiving Worship Service & Pie Social. The annual event will be held at Hosanna! Lutheran Church, 2800 N Church Rd, Liberty, MO. All are invited to attend no matter what congregation they attend or any at all. 

“We are grateful to come together as a community here in Liberty,” Rudi Garcia, president of the Liberty-area Ministerial Alliance, said. “This is a great event to remember how much God has blessed us, come together and partake in spiritual uplifting, and some great pie. I know I’m looking forward to some pumpkin.”

The annual event is also a fundraiser for the poor and needy in the community but are not necessary to attend.

“We do pass around a basket for donations,” Garcia said. “These donations are used throughout the year to help those in need in our community, but we’re just happy to see people uniting in Christ. It’s really great how we can all come together in remembrance of Jesus Christ.”
